FTTP (fibre to the premises) can reach download speeds of up to 1000Mb/s - up to 280 times faster than the current ADSL infrastructure in Ashington and Draycott.

Fibre cables use pulses of light to transmit data rather than pulses of electricity in copper. This increases efficiency and speed, reducing energy consumption.

As full fibre is so fast, you won't buffer or lose your connection during that all-important business meeting.

Fibre broadband may even increase the price of your house, as a fast connection to the internet is becoming ever more important. Not having fibre could put potential buyers off!
